out of all the high-level programming languages my comp sci class could've chosen to focus on they of course went with c#. which. yknow. is microsoft's thing. which of course means everything is based on visual studio. which you can really only use in its full capacity on windows. which i Don't Have. it was enough of a pain in the ass getting it to work properly on my macbook air and they're retiring the mac version in august 2024. because. yknow. microsoft. why couldn't we have learned c++ or something i feel like c++ would be more beneficial overall but noOoooOOOOoOoOO it's GOTTA be MICROSOFT. don't mind me i'm complaining

#EVEN C. I FEEL LIKE C AS THE ORIGINAL BASE LANGUAGE FOR ALL OF THESE WOULD BE MORE BENEFICIAL TO LEARN #BECAUSE THEN IT WOULD ACT AS A STEPPING STONE TO C++ AND C SHARP. AND EVERYTHING'S GOTTA BE MICROSOFT-BASED #THOSE OF US WITHOUT WINDOWS CAN GO FUCK OURSELVES I GUESS!!!!!#girl i am not installing windows on my laptop. i will not do it. i refuse.#i will wrangle the mac version on my shitty early 2020 i3 macbook air that loves crashing on me when i have too many #things running at once and then i will figure out an alternative if necessary. i will not install #the bloatware that is modern windows on my other laptop. i will not do it.#AND I WOULD JUST DO IT ON MY OTHER LAPTOP (WHICH RUNS A LINUX DISTRO) IF NOT FOR THE FACT THAT THE ONLY THING AVAILABLE ON LINUX #IS VSCODE. AND WHILE VSCODE IS GOOD FOR ALL MY FRONT-END NEEDS #TRYING TO WRANGLE IT FOR C SHARP IS A NIGHTMARE!!!! FOR WHATEVER REASON!!!!! CANNOTTTTT GET .NET INSTALLATIONS TO WORK NO MATTER WHAT I DO #whatever. it's fine. i am so normal
